:: March 16th, 2009 | 7-9pm -- After a successful series of short film screenings in Spring and Fall 2008, CIC is now proud to kick-off its screening season for Spring 2009 with "El Capitalismo Brutal." The screening includes masterpieces by Phil and Olly, Juan Pablo Zaramella, Vincent Bourgevin & Frank Lebon, Justin Lin, Philippe Dussol and Anders Skog. :: December 4th, 2008 -- Meet & Greet with CIC's Executive Committee @ SAC Lounge (3rd Fl.), 5pm. Feel free to stop by and hear about CIC's upcoming events, featuring the first workshop "The Fundamentals of Motion Picture Screenwriting." President Manuel Proissl will furthermore discuss different aspects in regard to multimedia used at this event.

:: December 11th, 2008 | 8pm -- For the first time in the event history of SBU, CIC is now proud to announce the first "Oscar Symposium" at Stony Brook with films from the 80th Annual Academy Awards! All nominated films, "Michael Clayton", "Juno", "Atonement", "There Will Be Blood" and Best Picture "No Country For Old Men", will be discussed in regard to their production process and moderated by Screenwriter, Director and Associate Producer, Manuel Proissl. :: Coming Soon -- After the overwhelming success at the Digital Arts Lecture Series in Spring 2008, CIC is now proud to present its first film workshop introducing the development phase of professional motion picture productions in "The Fundamentals of Motion Picture Screenwriting," which is hosted by professional Screenwriter, Manuel Proissl, whose experience in the business includes an upcoming Hollywood production.
